Your carrier-grade Internet
As simple as ielo.
To guarantee application performance, control your routing, and ensure availability, you need reliable, optimized carrier-grade Internet.
To power your distributed environments, clouds, critical services, or operator network, a basic Internet access is not enough. Your traffic must flow over consistent paths, without hidden dependencies or unpredictable detours — especially when your servers, APIs, or customers are spread across multiple data centers.
You need reliable, stable, end-to-end controlled IP Transit: Internet connectivity designed to deliver efficient routing, stable latency, and congestion-free performance, regardless of usage patterns or traffic peaks.
And in a context where your platforms continuously interact with major cloud providers, CDNs, distributed services, and global applications, your transit must be available where you already operate — in your data centers, wherever they are in France — to maintain consistent and predictable performance.
With its national IP network, independent backbone, and purpose-built peering designed to go straight to the point, ielo delivers IP Transit built for operators, data centers, and the services they host.
Do you need to connect your services to the rest of the world with full reliability? Unfold Fold
When your platforms depend on stable Internet access — exposed APIs, multi-cloud services, hosted clusters — every millisecond counts. You can’t afford fluctuating routes, hidden congestion, or unpredictable latency.
ielo IP Transit delivers efficient, consistent connectivity, with optimized paths and constant availability.
The goal: ensure the performance of your services, whatever the usage patterns or traffic peaks.
Do you need to secure your architecture with a second IP provider? Unfold Fold
Relying on a single transit provider creates a single point of failure. A BGP issue, upstream congestion, or an outage at your primary operator can impact your entire production.
We integrate IP Transit in a multihoming architecture:
- controlled BGP announcements,
- automatic failover,
- traffic load balancing,
- truly diverse paths.
The goal: ensure service continuity, even if another operator experiences a major incident.
Do you need shorter routes and more relevant peering? Fold Unfold
Your customers use cloud services, your platforms interact with global APIs, and your traffic flows through CDNs — route quality becomes strategic. Generic transit does not necessarily provide the best paths: detours, unnecessary latency, third-party congestion… and your performance suffers.
With peering built to go straight to the point (AS29075), ielo delivers:
- relevant interconnections,
- a balanced peering/upstream ratio,
- optimized routes to major cloud platforms and content providers.
The goal: reduce detours, improve responsiveness, and stabilize your critical traffic.

for your carrier-grade Internet access?
An IP network built on an equally solid physical network
Our IP Transit is built first and foremost on a recent, independent, and widely deployed fiber infrastructure, designed according to strict engineering standards. This fully controlled physical foundation allows us to deliver IP Transit both in data centers and directly at customer sites.
As a Tier 2 player, ielo also benefits from strong capillarity across France and Europe, providing naturally short and relevant routes to cloud providers, CDNs, and consumer ISPs.
Finally, our network is certified Google Peering Provider – Gold, an external validation of the quality of our interconnections.
An IP design focused on route quality
Our architectural choices and peering policies pursue a simple goal: efficient paths, controlled latency, and stable performance, even at scale. This approach ensures consistent and reliable connectivity to the entire Internet.
Availability that meets your requirements
We guarantee 99.998% availability and restoration within less than 4 hours (4h MTTR), supported by the diversity of our interconnections across France and Europe. Our IP network is operated by in-house teams, ensuring operational consistency and clear visibility into your service commitments.
Your questions, our answers… Simple, the ielo way!
A straightforward, technical FAQ to guide your connectivity choices:
IP Transit, route quality, peering, availability, and service commitments.
What are the advantages of IP Transit compared to a dedicated Internet access? Unfold Fold
A dedicated Internet access (DIA) allows a site to reach the Internet with guaranteed bandwidth. IP Transit, on the other hand, connects your own AS to the entire Internet via BGP: it provides greater control, better route visibility, and improved performance toward clouds, CDNs, and consumer ISPs.
Do you need an AS or IP address blocks to use IP Transit? Unfold Fold
Yes. IP Transit requires an AS and IP prefixes advertised via BGP.
If you already have these resources, we can establish the BGP session according to your architecture. If not, we can offer intermediate solutions.
How does ielo’s Tier 2 status improve route quality? Unfold Fold
As a Tier 2 provider, ielo combines extensive peering (over 1,800 peers) with diversified Tier-1 upstreams. This reduces detours, lowers latency, and ensures more consistent routes to critical services.
Can you deliver IP Transit directly to a customer site? Unfold Fold
Yes. Thanks to our own fiber network, we can deliver IP Transit both in data centers and directly at customer sites, with full control over the physical path.
How do you ensure route quality and latency? Fold Unfold
Our routing policies favor natural, coherent paths, complemented by qualitative analysis. Combined with dense peering and reliable Tier-1 upstreams, they ensure efficient routes and controlled latency, both in France and internationally.
What are your availability and restoration commitments? Fold Unfold
We guarantee 99.998% availability and restoration within less than 4 hours (4h MTTR), supported by the diversity of our national and European interconnections.
Who are your Tier-1 upstream providers and main Internet exchange points? Fold Unfold
Our Tier-1 upstream providers include Arelion (formerly Telia), Cogent, OTI, Sparkle, and NTT. We are also present at major European Internet exchange points (AMS-IX, DE-CIX, France-IX, LINX, SwissIX, etc.), which strengthens route consistency and performance.
Does ielo IP Transit include DDoS protection? Fold Unfold
Yes. Built-in DDoS protection is included to absorb abnormal traffic and maintain the availability of your critical services.
